WAS IT THE ISRAELI AIR FORCE? Lebanese sources claim Hezbollah convoy attacked by jets
Military jets attacked a convoy carrying ammunition Friday night in southwestern Syria, the foreign media reported. According to several Lebanese sources, the convoy belonged to Hezbollah. It had left the Syrian city of Daraa and was heading towards the Quneitra Crossing. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far. Israel has denied its involvement.
This report comes just days after media sources reported that several senior-level Hezbollah officials were killed in a series of clashes with Syrian rebels in the Qalamoun mountainous area, including Marwan Mughniyah, a nephew of assassinated Hezbollah leader Imad Mughniyah.
According to these reports, which have not yet been verified or addressed by Hezbollah, the rebels surrounded the Hezbollah forces led by the young Mughniyah, who was destined to become the next leader of the terrorist organization.
