Belly fat, as we all know, is one of the most difficult things to get rid of. Here are some tips on how to help you lose weight from this area and firm up your stomach:

1. Target your fat cells

6. Drink less

A study shows that alcohol weakens your body’s ability to burn fat by 36%. To avoid belly-expending effects by alcohol, women should limit themselves to one drink per sitting, while men should stop at two drinks.

When you are stressed out, the body releases cortisol, which is a hormone that encourages your body to store belly fat.
