Here Is What Will Happen If You Put an Ice Cube at This Point on Your Head
The ice cube trick, as it’s known, may sound like a myth, but it actually works. By putting a simple ice cube in the right spot, which you can find out by following these steps, it will not only give you bounds of energy, it will also make you look younger and help to combat any illnesses you might have.
The principle is based on Chinese acupuncture and the point called Feng Fu, a pressure point located precisely where the head and the neck meet. It sounds a little specific and difficult, but trust me, it isn’t.
To find the point, either lie on your belly or sit down and place an ice cube on the hole at the back of your head, exactly where your head meets your neck. Secure the cube with either a bandage or a scarf and leave it there for about 20 minutes. You need to do this every day for it to have the desired effects, but it actually works.
It sounds bizarre, but what’s even more bizarre is the reality. After about 40 seconds, you will no longer feel the cold touch of the ice cube, but this area will actually emit heat! What’s more, you will start to feel happy! Endorphins will be released into your bloodstream and there’s nothing you can do about it.
After the first few days of treatment you will find your sleep patterns get better, your digestion improves, any mild illnesses disappear, and any headaches, toothaches or other aches you may have evaporate. You should perform the ice cube trick every morning before your breakfast (on an empty stomach), or just before you go to bed at night.
The Chinese theory is that the Feng Fu point brings your entire body back to its natural physiological balance and rejuvenates the body and mind.
It doesn’t strictly have healing powers, however, it has also been known to help with illnesses such as:
- Bronchial asthma
- Respiratory diseases
- Problems with the thyroid gland
- An abnormal menstrual cycle
