‘It’s Not an Intifada,’ IDF Insists
Despite the daily terror attacks, a senior officer says they are not coordinated, but are connected by the timing: Ramadan.
The rampant terror attacks in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria are not an organized campaign, or “intifada,” according to a senior IDF officer. “The IDF’s main effort at the moment is to stop the sequence of events that are not related to each other, and it is possible that the only thing they have in common is the timing – the month of Ramadan.”
Regarding Monday’s shooting attack that killed Malachi Moshe Rosenfeld, the senior officer said that the shooter waited in ambush at the point that connects Migdalim and the Alon Route, and opened fire on the vehicle that carried Rosenfled and the other victims.
