Once considered extinct, rare sand kittens make public debut in Israel

Three sand kittens, born three weeks ago and once considered extinct in Israel, delight crowds at Ramat Gan Safari Park.

The three kittens were seen playing and cozying up to their mother on Tuesday at the Ramat Gan safari park. The sand cat species (Felis margarita) is a wild desert cat considered extinct in Israel and efforts are being made for its conservation, according to the park
