Father of Paris train terrorist blames Spain, France; claims son a ‘good boy’
It’s not every day that someone just so happens to stumble upon a bag o’ weapons in a city park. But that’s exactly what would-be terrorist Ayoub el-Khazzani claims happened prior to his foiled jihadist attack. Either wildly coincidental or just taken beyond absurd, Khazzani’s father is publicly stating that his son is a “good boy” and if the fault belongs anywhere, it lays directly at the feet of certain European nations for failing to find him a job.
As reported by the Breitbart.com news portal on Aug. 24, 2015, and also by the British newspaper the Daily Mail on Aug. 23, 2015, the wannabe terrorist’s father, Mohamed al-Khazzani, his boy is no killer. In fact, young Ayoub is actually a “good boy” who would “never want to kill anyone.”
“My son a terrorist?” Papa Khazzani asked rhetorically despite his son being on the terrorist watch lists of four different nations; Spain, France, Germany, and Belgium. To which he justified his son boarding a train with a small arsenal and squeezing off one round which wounded an American expat living in France, “The only terrorism he is guilty of is terrorism for bread because he hasn’t got enough money to feed himself properly.”
The elder Khazzani, a junk dealer living in the heavily Muslim neighborhood of El Saladillo in the Spanish port city of Algeciras, went on to blame both Spain and France for not finding his son a job, thusly whatever desperate actions he may have made were never his fault to begin with. Claiming that young Ayoub moved to France because he couldn’t find work in Spain, he also stated, “You should ask them [Spain and France] why they’re doing that to young people, selling them empty promises and then dumping them on the street.” Besides El Saladillo being heavily populated by North African Muslims, the area is also known to Spanish anti-terrorist authorities as a “hotbed” of Islamic jihadism.
