BREAKING: Iran Just Dropped a Humiliating Bombshell About Obama in Front of the Entire World
The ink was barely dry on the interim agreement when Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, the lead negotiator for Iran, accused the Obama administration of lying about the accord. Those lies are apparently on a fact sheet the Obama administration released shortly after negotiations concluded.
The foreign minister had previously claimed that the United States had agreed to let Iran continue to enrich uranium. Also, he said all nuclear-related and financial sanctions would be lifted as soon as the final draft of the deal is signed.
The fact sheet appears to play down the American concessions, which would allow Iran to develop a nuclear bomb nearly unhindered.
“The solutions are good for all as they stand,” Zarif stated on Twitter. “There is no need to spin using fact sheets.”
He contradicted a claim by Secretary of State John Kerry that sanctions would be ended in a series of drawn-out phases and only after Iran verified that it was not building nuclear weapons.
Zarif quoted the agreement: “’U.S. will cease the application of ALL nuclear-related secondary economic and financial sanctions.’” He then asked, “Is this gradual?”
Iranian officials have a habit of complaining that the details of agreements between them and American representatives are being misrepresented to the world. But aside from that complaint, it sounds as if the United States gave away the store (H/T Washington Free Beacon).
There appears to be nothing in the interim agreement that would even slow Iran’s advance toward obtaining nuclear weapons.
