Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Russia on Monday resolved many differences between Russia and Israel on Syria and gathered a positive reaction in Israeli society, publicist Avidgor Eskin told Sputnik.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Russia on Monday opened a new chapter in Russia’s relations with Israel, political figure Avidgor Eskin told Sputnik.
During Netanyahu’s visit, Russia and Israel agreed to exchange information on Syria to avoid any unintended clashes between Israeli and Russian forces.
“Now, as a matter of fact, all the problems are now solved in Russia and Israel, because if we dig deeper, Israel was wary at the beginning how to behave towards the civil war in Syria,” Eskin told Radio Sputnik.
