Donald Trump on closing mosques: ‘We’re gonna have no choice’
Real-estate mogul Donald Trump on Tuesday doubled down on potentially closing down certain US mosques.
During an interview on Fox News, host Sean Hannity pressed Trump on the topic, emphasizing that mosques would be shuttered only if authorities could prove the existence of “terroristic threats” and “talk of jihad” in them.
“Nobody wants to say this and nobody wants to shut down religious institutions or anything, but you understand this,” Trump replied.
“We’re gonna have no choice,” he added. “There’s absolutely no choice. Some really bad things are happening, and they’re happening fast.”
