Europe Turns Against Syrian Refugees: Waves of Protests Begin
There are 14.4 million “refugees of concern” across the world, according to the United Nations. From Assad’s barrel bombs in Syria to the Islamic State in Libya and famine in Sudan, war, persecution and poverty are driving millions from their homes to seek shelter elsewhere.
Many are arriving on the shores of Europe, where leaders are juggling public hostility to incomers, scarcity of resources, the moral responsibility to help those in need and counter-terror concerns.
David Cameron, the British prime minister, has pledged to take in 20,000 Syrian refugees over the coming five years, with priority given to orphans. According to European Commission figures. Germany had the most in the EU at 202, 645 (showing just how much the global situation has deteriorated in 2015 amid the march of the Islamic State in particular), while the lowest was Estonia with 155.
With this rise in immigration 10s of thousands of people have taken to the streets to protest refugees entering their countries. Many of these refugees are male, Mainstream media is trying to say otherwise but facts do not lie. The majority of those escaping to Europe are young, fit males . In fact over three quarters of those in Europe are.
“Yes, there are families in the throng at Keleti. Plenty with young children. But if you stand and take a rough count it is hard not to come to the conclusion that young men are in the overwhelming majority. They have been dressed by charity and have cash for tickets. They want to charge their iPhones, eat more pizza and board their trains.”
Accepting thousands of young, fit men from countries with no respect for women or the west – what could go wrong.

“When Muslim teenage boys go to open air swimming pools, they are overwhelmed when they see girls in bikinis. These boys, who come from a culture where for women it is frowned upon to show naked skin, will follow girls and bother them without their realizing it. Naturally, this generates fear.” — Bavarian politician, quoted in Die Welt.
On August 18, a coalition of four social work organizations and women’s rights groups sent a two-page letter to the leaders of the political parties in the regional parliament in Hesse, a state in west-central Germany, warning them of the worsening situation for women and children in the refugee shelters. “The ever-increasing influx of refugees has complicated the situation for women and girls at the receiving center in Giessen (HEAE) and its subsidiaries.
