Russia destroys 60 terrorists in Syria, after ISIS massacres over 300 civilians
The Russian Air Force in Syria has killed 60 Isis militants in the east of Deir ez-Zor province, Russia’s defense ministry has reported.
The ministry’s spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said: “The Russian Su-34 bombers have struck terrorist strongholds near the village of Bagilya in the Deir ez-Zor province where Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) have recently executed 300 civilian from the local population for the sake of intimidation.”
The defence ministry official said that Russia’s air force has also delivered more than 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid to areas of Syria which have been blocked off by “terrorists”.
