Iran May Use Its Commandos, Snipers as Advisers in Iraq, Syria
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior Iranian military official said on Wednesday that the country would send its snipers and commandos on advisory missions to the war-torn countries of Iraq and Syria to help in the fight against Daesh (ISIL) terrorists.
Speaking on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of a training course for Rapid Reaction Brigade of Commandos and the second course for snipers in Tehran, Brigadier General Ali Arasteh, the coordination deputy of the Iranian Army Ground Force, said that the trained forces will be used in special missions after they are ensured to be fully prepared.
