Arsonists torch Muslim prayer room in ‘suspected Islamophobic attack’
A MUSLIM prayer room has been ravaged by a large fire in a suspected Islamophobic arson attack.

Traces of hydrocarbons were found at the scene, sparking a police probe into how the blaze started.
Three fire engines rushed to the scene to deal with the fire which started at around 4.30am inCorsica, a French island in the Mediterranean Sea.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze at 7am, according to local newspaper Corse Matin.
The prayer room has been targeted in the past after dead wild boar heads were left outside the building, in the island’s capital Ajaccio, according to a French radio station.
The incident comes months after waves of Islamophobic and xenophobic violence broke out in the Corsican capital.
Last December a Muslim prayer room was wrecked and copies of the Koran were burned during the unrest.
Incidents have spiked since the Paris attacks in November 2015, including hooligans writing graffiti saying “Kick out the Arabs” and the remains of a wild boar being dumped outside a Muslim prayer room.
