EXCLUSIVE: Will ISIS strike TODAY? These chilling theories warn of attack

AS BRITISH special forces stage a massive counter-terrorism training operation tonight, a brutal attack could be imminent if history is anything to go by.

Manchester’s Trafford Centre is currently playing host to a staged “attack” involving 800 civilian volunteers along with dozens of officers from Greater Manchester Police, Merseyside Police and the North West Counter Terrorism Unit.

But similar operations in the past have been almost immediately followed by real terrorist attacks, according to some experts.

An eerily similar training drill was taking place shortly before the horrific 7/7 bombings in London.

The exercise, which simulated bomb explosions at exactly the same locations as the atrocities, was conducted by Peter Power, Managing Director of Visor Consultants – a private firm on contract to the London Metropolitan Police.

In a BBC interview on July 7, 2005, Mr Power said: “At half past nine this morning we were actually running an exercise for a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing up right now.”

Meanwhile, at the time of the infamous Iranian Embassy siege on April 30, 1980, a crack SAS team were regularly simulating a similar attack in the Killing House – a practice building at their Hereford base.

This is according to a book called Who Dares Wins – The SAS and the Iranian Embassy Siege 1980, written by Gregory Fremont-Barnes, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of War Studies at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.

The book quotes a member of the SAS describing the Killing House drills “at the time of the embassy siege”, saying the exercises were designed to train special forces in how to kill multiple terrorists in a smoke-filled building full of corridors where hostages were present.

And some chilling coincidences also took place during the 9/11 terror attacks.

The North American Aerospace Defence Command was conducting an exercise called Vigilant Guardian, which included a fake hijacking of an aircraft, according to military journalist Michael Bronner.

At the same time, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) confirmed a drill was being conducted whereby a small aircraft would crash into one of the towers of the agency’s headquarters.
