BREAKING: Another Woman Just Stepped Forward With Bombshell Statement About Trump…
The New York Times published a story over the weekend that attempted to portray billionaire businessman and presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump as a sexist, and it worked about as well as the rest of the failed attacks on him over the past several months.
Almost as soon as the story went public, some of the women quoted in the piece began to come forward to debunk The Times, claiming their words had been twisted or taken out of context to unfairly smear Trump.
Now another woman named in the article has publicly condemned The Times. Former Miss USA Carrie Prejean appeared on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Tuesday night to let everyone know how she really felt about Trump and the way he has treated her.
As to The Times approaching her about being in their hit piece on Trump, Prejean recalled, “I told them they weren’t gonna get anything negative out of me about Donald Trump, and they weren’t really happy about that.”
She went on to describe how once The Times realized she wasn’t going to give them what they wanted, they simply sifted through her book “Still Standing” until they found a singular quote they could lift out of context to make it appear as though Trump had treated women poorly.
But Prejean insisted that Trump has been nothing but gracious, helpful and kind toward her and the rest of the beauty pageant contestants, far from the boorish misogynist The Times attempted to paint him as.
This is in keeping with other failed hit pieces against Sen. Marco Rubio and former Gov. Mitt Romney by the same writer at The Times. All three articles exaggerated the facts or took information out of context to portray the Republicans in a negative light.
And to think, people used to respect The New York Times. How the mighty have fallen.
