Brits FURIOUS with Angelina Jolie as she says ‘stay in Europe and take MORE Muslim migrants’

ANGELINA JOLIE has been criticised across Britain for giving a bizarre speech in which she told the UK to stay in the EU and take more migrants.


The there was a “race to the bottom” between European nations to reintroduce border controls as the continent struggles to cope with mass migration.

Jolie, the wife of actor Brad Pitt, said: “Fear of uncontrolled migration has eroded public confidence and the ability of Governments and international institutions to control the situation.”

And in a thinly-veiled reference to the forthcoming EU referendum, she added: “Isolationism is not strength. Fragmentation is not the answer. Strength lies in being unafraid: in working with others, and living up to our highest ideals.” “I believe this is again that once-in-a-generation moment when nations have to pull together.

“It would be naïve to think that we can protect ourselves selectively, alone, from challenges in a globalized world, by pulling away from other countries or peoples.”
But Brits reacted with fury to Jolie’s speech, with one caller to a national radio station claiming the actress made his “skin crawl”.

“I cannot stand worthless, useless celebrities. That they have the gall to lecture the ordinary working man about taking in immigrants,” he said.

“It makes my skin crawl.”

Margaret, a caller from south Wales, told host LBC Radio Katie Hopkins: “I think they should shut up and do their dogoody bits behind closed doors.”

She continued: “Angelina Jolie has got airs above her station.

“I can’t stand the woman and her dogooding.”

Another caller, Dave, from Stockport, said he “could not believe” what Jolie was saying.
