Christian Russia Turns its Back on Muslim Iran Refusing to Arm them Against Israel
The commander of Iran’s ground forces, Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, said Iran would like to have Russia’s T-90 main battle tank.
But Russia has no intention of selling tanks to Iran, the chief of the federal service for military-technical cooperation Alexander Fomin has said.
“Such deals might be possible only when the bans are gone. Tanks, ships, missiles and other attack weapons fall under UN sanctions,” he said.
The official has also pointed out that Russia is not working on “absolutely new ” contracts to supply Iran with weapons.
So what happened to the supposed Gog so many argue is Russia? Gog was supposed to be the armament supplier to Persia (Iran) for the sole purpose of invading Israel.
Russia received intelligence from Israel a year ago that Tehran had violated an agreement with Moscow not to pass on advanced Russian-made weaponry to the terror group Hezbollah, its proxy in Lebanon. President Putin was handed intelligence from Israel (strange that Israel and the supposed Gog are cooperating) showing that Iran had supplied Hezbollah with Russian-made SA-22 surface-to-air missile systems.
Russia confirmed this information with surveillance flights over Lebanon and Syria, using their own anti-missile radars to detect the systems which had been moved to Lebanon.
Yossi Alpher, a former Mossad analyst and operative, recently said that “coordination” between Russia and Israel over Syria has been a success and represented “a major strategic development in the Middle East”.
“When the Russian air-force began setting up in the Alawite coast of Syria, the first foreign leader to go to Russia, who rushed to meet Putin, was Bibi” Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister, said Alpher. “[Netanyahu told them]: ‘Okay we’ll have our armies coordinate. You’re bombing, we occasionally bomb to interdict arms transfers to Hezbollah’.”
The biggest potential flashpoint between Russia and Israel has been in Russian planes flying over Israeli-held territory in the Golan – but both sides cooperated and have been prepared to take the action necessary to prevent the kind of incident in which Turkey (the real Gog) downed a Russian plane in November.
“We shot down Syrian planes that flew over the Golan, but not Russian planes,” said Alpher, adding that co-ordination had been done “very efficiently” given that
