Saudi Arabia bribes Putin for Russia to abandon Syria’s Assad
Saudi Arabia is rumored to have bribed the Russian Federation’s top officials with a large sum of money and a wealth of influence in the Arab world, if they abandoned Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.
During an interview on Friday, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister ‘Adel Al-Jubeir told Politico News Agency that the Al-Saud regime offered the Russians privileged access to the Gulf Cooperation Council’s exclusive markets and financial incentives that would exceed China’s investments.
“We are ready to give Russia a stake in the Middle East that will make Russia a force stronger than the Soviet Union,” Jubeir told Politico on Friday.
“We disagree on Syria, not so much on the end game but how to get there.”
