WATCH: RAF fighter jets OBLITERATE ISIS camp in Saddam Hussein’s palace
BRITISH Tornado jets have dropped two 2000lb bombs on an ISIS hijacked palace built by hanged Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
The Palace of the Lances in Mosul in Northern Iraq is believed to have been used as a major training facility for the terror group.
The comes as it is confirmed Britain will send more troops to Iraq.
RAF forces engaged in the mission as part of a NATO coalition operation designed to target the major headquarters and training centre for ‘foreign terrorist recruits’.
Defence Secretary Michael Fallon confirmed the operation and issued a stark warning to more than 800 people from the UK who have travelled to support or fight for jihadist organisations in Syria and Iraq.
He said: “Daesh has been losing followers and territory for months, and emphatic strikes like this show that we and the coalition will not waver.
