SMOKING GUN: Associated Press drops massive Hillary bombshell…
As the Clinton Foundation remains the center of the latest Hillary Clinton scandal, one of the main concerns surrounds what appears to be evidence of “pay for play.” We’ve seen Middle Eastern nations (like Saudi Arabia) approved for billions in arms deals by Hillary’s State Department, while they “coincidentally” were also major donors to her Foundation.
Could other donors be doing looking for special favors as well? It’s Hillary we’re talking about — so duh.
In a case of you-know-it-must-be-REALLY-bad-when-even-the-mainstream-media-says-so, The Associated Press is reporting that well over half of all the people not working for the government who met with Hillary Clinton during her tenure as Secretary of State gave cash to the Clinton Foundation.
Yeah, so more than half of all non-government meetings the busy Secretary of State somehow made time for just so happened to have donated large sums to the Secretary of State’s own “charitable” foundation.
Via the Daily Wire:
The AP reported:
“At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.”
It’s actually worse than that – this count didn’t include representatives of 16 governments that gave $170 million to the Foundation.
The Associated Press also revealed that many of these people asked her for help directly. While the AP mentioned that the meetings “do not appear to violate legal agreements Clinton and former president Bill Clinton signed before she joined the State Department in 2009,” it’s clear that the Clinton Foundation and State Department essentially acted as a giant clearing house for Clinton favors and cash.
But don’t worry: Clinton’s campaign says that this is all above board and wonderful.
And naturally, Clinton’s representatives say there’s no smoking gun for impropriety. Which makes sense
