Paris loses over £650 MILLION in tourism revenue in 2016 alone as terrosm grips the country

THE capital city has seen a shocking decline in tourism after a difficult year.


Paris has long been the city for lovers and one of the most sought after capitals for tourists to visit.

But the city has suffered a shocking blow to their tourism in 2016.

Whilst landmarks like the Louvre museum and the Eiffel Tower are usually flooded with tourists in the summer seasons, this year the have been noticeably scarcer.

The series of terror attacks that have struck France in recent years appears to have pushed tourists to opt for other destinations.

In July, Nice suffered a devastating attack in Nice where 84 people died at the hands of a terrorist driving a lorry through Bastille Day crowds.

Currently, the terror threat to France is listed at high on a scale of low, underlying and high.
