WATCH: Take a Moment to Remember the 44 Lives Lost to Terror Since Rosh HaShana 2015
Here is a tribute to the innocent murdered victims of Palestinian terror in Israel over the past year, introducing us to each one of them.
It was a year ago on Rosh Hashana 2015, when the latest wave of Arab terror began. At the time, Arab rioters repeatedly attacked IDF forces at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, intending to stop Jewish from visiting the holy site.
Israeli authorities blamed PA head Mahmoud Abbas for “incitement and lies” which led to violence.
“Al-Aqsa is ours and so is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,” Abbas had said at a meeting with Jerusalem anti-Israel activists ahead of the Jewish New Year. “They have no right to desecrate them with their filthy feet. We won’t allow them to do so, and we will do whatever we can to defend Jerusalem.”
The terrible violence continued throughout the year, claiming a total of 44 lives and wounding close to 600 people. Many of whose names evoke tears and painful memories.
