WATCH: Obama Pushed Over Edge by “Bill’s a Rapist” Protesters, Snaps During Speech
If you have been paying attention to the latest developments in the 2016 election, you are probably aware of the recent tendency, with increasing frequency, of campaign events for Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to be disrupted by protesters drawing attention to the allegations of sexual assault by former President Bill Clinton.
These protesters generally shout “Bill Clinton is a rapist!” while wearing shirts or holding signs bearing the same message. As could be expected, they are quickly shouted down by Clinton supporters and escorted out of the event by security.
One such protest happened Tuesday when President Barack Obama was speaking on behalf of the nominee in Greensboro, North Carolina, to a crowd of Clinton supporters.
According to Breitbart, Obama was repeatedly interrupted by a man and woman shouting the accusation and wearing hand-made shirts bearing the same, prompting the president to crack jokes at their expense and even take a veiled shot at Republican nominee Donald Trump.
“Oh no!” Obama exclaimed mockingly upon first being interrupted by the duo, waiting nearly a minute for the crowd to stop booing at the protesters before continuing.
“You know, this is the great thing about politics in America,” Obama stated with a grin. “It takes all kinds. Folks will just do all kinds of stuff.”
